The Character of God.
A sermon preached on 24th July, 2016.
Genesis 37:1-11
Readings are Genesis 37:1-11 ("Joseph and his Brothers"), 42:1-6 (from "Joseph's Brothers Go to Egypt to Buy Corn"), and 47:7-12 (from "Jacob and his Family in Egypt"), with references to other incidents in Joseph's life in Gen 39 - 41, and Romans 5:1-11 ("Right with God") read earlier in the service, which had also included the dedication of two babies (hence the theme of children and parents).
Martin Hills
Martin was a minister at Central Baptist between 2006 and 2016. He was ordained in April 2009. Martin was a trainee youth minister at Central between 1997 and 2000, before leaving to join Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service as Senior Outreach worker. In 2006 he rejoined the Ministry Team and trained at Ridley Hall, Cambridge.
