The Parable of the Sower.
A sermon preached on 19th January, 2020.
Mark 4:1-9
No reading, but talk based on the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4:1-9 (also in Matt 13:1-9 and Luke 8:4-8). The service had earlier featured the baptism of Tara. At the start of the talk, small pieces of paper with illustrations on them were passed around the congregation, and the "seeds" were handfuls of chocolates thrown by Phil, who followed Jesus's example and gave the talk from a small inflatable boat in the baptistry tank, already full of (warm) water.
