Jesus Is The Light Of The World.
A sermon preached on 30th October, 2016.
John 8:12-20
Theme is light as this weekend marked the end of UK daylight-saving time this year with clocks put back from BST to GMT. Readings are Exodus 13:17-18 & 20-22 (Pillar of Cloud and Fire) and John 8:12-20 (Jesus, Light of the World), with references to Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 42:7, John 1:4-5 and the story of Jesus healing a blind man in John 9, also the Jewish Festival of Shelters.

Leesa trained at Spurgeon's College and was ordained in April 2009. She served as an Associate Minister at Central Baptist betweeen 2010 and 2020. Before coming to Chelmsford in she was Associate Minister at Buckhurst Hill having previously been Director for Epping Forest Youth for Christ. Leesa was welcomed to fully accredited status at the Baptist Union Assembly in May 2013.
