Celebration of Children & Young People -- The Power of God.
A sermon preached on 10th July, 2016.
This was a talk from a service celebrating children and young people. No reading, but the talk mentions other topics included in the service: a drama featuring the story of Noah (Genesis 6:9-9:17 and Leesa McKay's sermon on May 29th), a DVD about Jesus calming a storm on the lake (Matt 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, & Luke 8:22-25), a game involving water-filled balloons, and closing prayers based on Revelation 21:1-6.
Martin Hills
Martin was a minister at Central Baptist between 2006 and 2016. He was ordained in April 2009. Martin was a trainee youth minister at Central between 1997 and 2000, before leaving to join Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service as Senior Outreach worker. In 2006 he rejoined the Ministry Team and trained at Ridley Hall, Cambridge.
