Readings are Acts 6:1-7 ("The Seven Helpers") and 1 Timothy 3 8-13 ("Helpers in the Church"), with references to the NIV versions of these texts, and the Fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 (also certain football matches at the end of the 2014-5 season); slightly poor sound quality in readings. The sermon context was CBC's imminent election of deacons, as well as the ongoing search for a new senior minister.
