John 6:25-51

Readings are Matthew 4:1-4 (from "The Temptation of Jesus") & 6:9-13 (the Lord's Prayer), and John 6:25-27a, 34-39, & 47-51 ("Jesus the Bread of Life"), with references to the feeding of the crowd with loaves and fishes in John 6:1-15 (also told in the other Gospels) and Hosea 3:2 (as well as the imminent opening of the new John Lewis store in Bond St, Chelmsford). This service was a celebration of harvest, hence the food theme.
