Isaiah 42:1-7
Details
Reading is Isaiah 42:1-7, with references to Isaiah ch's 9 & 53, Philippians 2:5-7a, feet-washing in John 13:1-20, Jesus's baptism in Luke 3:21-22, and Jesus in the synagogue in Luke 4:16-21 (also CBC's continuing search for a new minister, and interruptions from Jim Hamilton's mobile telephone). The sermon was followed by Communion.
